Penybryn Cottages offer two self catering cottages on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are 25 minutes from both Swansea and Cardiff and 10 minutes from both the Brecon Beacons National Park and Bike Park Wales. We are also located 5 minutes away from South Wales’ ZipWorld which is estimated to be completed in 2021.
The cottages, based in Cwmbach, a small village in Aberdare offer free Wi-Fi and free private secure parking.
Both cottages are fully equipped with large bedrooms, cooking facilities and a seating area. Guests can enjoy a private outdoor area with an enclosed garden, picnic area and children’s play-park.
Honeypot cottage also has a hot tub in the enclosed garden for use by guests if they wish at a small additional fee.
We have rescue hens, Miniature Shetland ponies and Herdwick sheep at the property at certain times of the year.
Food hampers can be supplied on request at an additional cost, and the Penybryn Cottages offers seasonal home-grown produce when it is available, such as pork and lamb dishes.
Penybryn also offers a barn for parties or functions.

The 3 star cottages are set in a quiet location and are situated about 30 minutes from both Swansea and Cardiff. Brecon Beacons National Park and Gethin Mountain Bike Park can be reached in around 10 minutes by car.
